Secondary Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By purchasing a Secondary (Senior) subscription from STORMUSI (“we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply alongside our general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not complete a purchase.

2. Plans and pricing

We offer the following Secondary plans, each providing access to the features described on our Secondary pricing page at the time of purchase:

  • Secondary Lite — a recurring monthly or annual subscription.
  • Secondary Pro — a recurring monthly or annual subscription.
  • Secondary Faculty (Annual) — a single annual subscription covering all music staff at one school.

All prices are shown in your selected currency (AUD, GBP, or USD) and include applicable taxes where required. We may change our pricing at any time, but any change will not affect a subscription you have already paid for until the end of your current billing period.

3. Minimum commitment period

Monthly subscriptions are billed monthly and carry a minimum commitment of one (1) billing cycle. You may cancel at any time, but cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid month — you will not receive a refund for the unused portion of that month.

Annual subscriptions are billed for a full twelve (12) months in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You may turn off auto-renewal at any time so that your subscription ends after the paid year.

Faculty (Annual) plans cover a single school site for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Renewal and cancellation

Monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account or by contacting us; cancellation stops future charges only and does not refund the current period. Access continues until the end of the paid period.

5. Refunds

Subscriptions are generally non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partially used billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us within fourteen (14) days of the charge and we will review your request. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory consumer rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law or the laws of your country of residence.

6. Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. By completing a purchase you authorise us to charge the selected payment method for the applicable amount, including any automatic renewal charges, until you cancel.

7. Access and eligibility

Paid access is granted to the account that made the purchase and is non-transferable. Faculty plans are limited to music teaching staff at the single school site named at purchase. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, unauthorised sharing of account credentials, or breach of these terms, without refund.

8. Important disclaimer — NESA, IB & syllabus compliance

Please read this section carefully. It is a fundamental term of your subscription.

  • Not an official NESA or IB resource. STORMUSI is an independent teaching aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) or the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). All syllabus references, outcome codes, and curriculum terminology are provided for educational convenience only.
  • Programs and units are drafts, not NESA-approved. AI-generated teaching programs, units, and scope-and-sequences are starting points to support your professional judgement. They are not NESA-approved, registered, or endorsed programs. You are responsible for reviewing, adapting, and finalising all programs in accordance with your school’s policies and current NESA requirements before use.
  • Compliance tools are advisory only. The Compliance Engine, Band Predictor, Audit Export, and similar tools provide indicative checks based on publicly available syllabus information at the time of generation. They do not constitute legal advice and do not guarantee NESA compliance, accreditation, or registration outcomes. Always verify compliance directly against the current official NESA syllabus documents and your school’s registration requirements.
  • Repertoire suitability is a guide only. The Repertoire Library and Repertoire Checker provide general guidance on HSC and IB performance repertoire. They do not guarantee that a piece will be accepted by NESA or IB examiners. Always confirm repertoire choices against current NESA/IB performance requirements and consult your faculty and head of department.
  • Syllabus currency. NSW is mid-transition between the 2009 and 2025 Stage 6 Music syllabuses. STORMUSI aims to reflect the forward-looking 2025 syllabus terminology, but you must verify all outcome codes, content, and assessment requirements against the official NESA syllabus document applicable to your students’ cohort.
  • AI-generated content may contain errors. Resources, reports, and feedback generated by our AI tools may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before use with students or submission to NESA/IB.

By using STORMUSI’s Secondary tools, you acknowledge that you are a qualified teacher exercising your own professional judgement, and that STORMUSI accepts no liability for any consequences arising from reliance on its generated programs, compliance checks, repertoire suggestions, or AI-generated content.

9. No warranty

The Secondary tools, programs, and resources are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the tools will meet NESA or IB requirements, that generated content will be accurate or complete, or that compliance checks will reflect the latest syllabus changes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all warranties are excluded.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, STORMUSI, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Secondary tools — including any loss arising from reliance on generated programs, compliance checks, repertoire suggestions, or AI-generated content in connection with NESA or IB submissions, audits, or accreditation.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, particularly in response to syllabus changes or regulatory updates. Material changes will be communicated where practicable, and the updated terms will apply to subscriptions active on or after the effective date.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms or a Secondary subscription can be directed to us through the contact details published on the STORMUSI website.
